About

EZOS, a name reborn

EZOS is the SaaS offer of Neomytic srl, a Belgian company specialised since 2010 in architecture, development and training around Microsoft technologies and the cloud.

The EZOS name didn't come out of nowhere: it is part of our history.

Our story

The story of EZOS s.a. is a perfect example of the drive of Belgium's mobile and internet pioneers in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

  1. 1992EZOS s.a. is founded in Braine-l'Alleud: a Belgian services company known for its expertise in Microsoft technologies, development, mobility and training. After leaving IBM, its three founders, Jean-Claude Streel, Benoît Huon and Paul Daeseleire, start this IT company from the Grand-Place of Braine-l'Alleud.
  2. 1999 – 2002The WAP and mobility adventure. Anticipating the rise of the mobile internet, EZOS becomes a European pioneer by developing EzWAP, its own web browser for WAP wireless technology. It brings the pocket web to the first mobile devices and handheld computers of the time, including Windows CE. This expertise earns EZOS high-profile projects and close collaboration with Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard.
  3. 2000sMicrosoft Gold Partner. After the dot-com bubble, EZOS refocuses on IT services for businesses and becomes a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner: server infrastructure, databases, Windows application development and systems engineering. The company opens offices in Tournai and in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, France.
  4. 2007The acquisition by Vision IT Group. In May 2007, with a highly qualified team, EZOS attracts the interest of European consolidators. The company is fully acquired by Vision IT Group, a major European IT services company, strengthening its position in the Microsoft ecosystem in Benelux and France. The EZOS name gradually fades away.
  5. 2010The legacy: Neomytic is born. Three years after joining the multinational, several of EZOS's long-standing engineers and consultants want to return to a consultancy on a human scale. In April 2010, part of the former team joins forces to found the cooperative company Neomytic. Building on the expertise gained at EZOS since the 1990s, Neomytic still carries on that specialisation in Microsoft cloud and infrastructure technologies today.
  6. TodaySeveral former EZOS s.a. colleagues are part of the Neomytic team. Together, we are reviving a name from the past. The same spirit, now serving a range of simple, ready-to-use online solutions.
